The NAB AFL Auskick Rookies program is a popular program for girls and boys born in 2020, 2021 and 2022 to learn the skills of Australian Football, be part of a team and play with their friends. Each session is specially designed to introduce AFL in a safe environment (no tackle), with emphasis on having fun!
All Auskick Rookies receive an Auskick pack in the mail from the AFL to the address provided during registration.
The Auskick Rookies program is a minimum 8 week program.
Dates: Starts 22nd April 2026
Times: Wednesdays 5:00pm – 6:00pm
Location: Stirling Oval 101
What to bring: Players need to bring a drink bottle, sportswear and runners (Football boots are optional).

The more volunteers, the more fun the program is.
No football experience necessary.

Please note - children whose parents/families volunteer have priority to participate in matches at half-time of AFL fixtures at Manuka Oval.
